I think my bot is dead.

ok, so I've been trying to get loni back out this summer and just yesterday went to check on him and it was off. Turned it back on and it said null (0000) like a password, so I hit enter four times and tried to start it and all it showed was a bunch of weird characters on the screen bot is dead and I can't get it to do anything. Is there a way to reset the bot or will I have to buy the software cable and try that? Or is it just dead and I wasted my time and money?

forgot to add that it is a lawnbot 3200.

Update I tried to update the bot.. here is what is does and says now
turned on says Hello (E) v May 30 2008
(Null pointer) 0000 (so i hit enter 4 x)
Says (Null pointer)
then goes to a screen that says N with a right arrow. ( I hit enter)
the screen shows mu^ hit enter
beeps twice and shows null G s||G{}ov
hit enter
screen now says null twice
etc...

Bob, have you tried contacting your dealer? It looks like one of the boards may need to be replaced. Are you still within your 2 year warranty? Did your mower get the blade guard and extras done to it back in 2008?

Thanks for the help turned out to be a bad mother board, that was said to be really rare.
