Lawn Mower Cost Comparison - LawnBott vs Lawn Service vs Riding Lawn Mower vs Push Mower
LawnBott Robotic Lawn Mower will:
Cost LESS than a Lawn Service
Many lawn services cost $35 to $100 per week depending on the size of your lawn. If you use a lawn service for 35 weeks per year, you could be paying $1,225 - $3,500 per year! A LawnBott can pay for itself within 2 years during the warranty period. That's true value.
Cost LESS than a Riding Lawn Mower
If you are mowing a quarter acre or more, you are probably using a riding lawn mower. A riding lawn mower will cost $1,000 - $3,000 upfront. Operating cost and upkeep can quickly exceed $350 per year when adding rising fuel cost, oil, and regular service intervals. Don't forget to add in repair cost as the machine ages. Riding lawn mowers also take up precious storage space and you may need to purchase a trailer to transport it. All that and you still have to drive it.
LawnBott uses only $11 of electricity per year. No gas to buy. No oil to change. No tune-ups. Simply replace the blades at $60 once a year. LawnBott lithium batteries cost $330 once every 4 to 5 years or lead acid batteries cost less than $75 every 2 to 3 years. Since LawnBott is an electric lawn mower, it has few moving parts and is less likely to break. LawnBott is a simple solution for a big problem.
BETTER value than a Push Lawn Mower
How much is your time worth? If you're mowing a quarter of an acre with a push mower, you're spending up to 2 hours every week mowing grass during your free time. When you figure in the amount you're paying over the long term, (gas, oil, maintenance and repairs/replacements) the best long-term value is in the LawnBott. Go ahead, reclaim your weekends.
LOW Maintenance Cost
No tune-ups, no oil changes, no filters or service intervals. Just replace blades once a year and batteries every 4 to 5 years. (2 to 3 years for the LB2110's lead acid batteries.)
*With proper maintenance, lithium batteries will last 3 - 5+ years, Lead acid 2-3 years.

It is fair to compare the Robomower RL1000 with the entry level Lawnbott LB2110 Professional,
but for the sake
of flagship comparisons,
we threw in the new LawnBott LB3500 Robotic Lawn Mower.
The LawnBott uses it's computer brain and a perimeter wire signal to determine where to mow and where not to. As it is moving along in the yard, it "hears" the perimeter signal that is emitted from the perimeter wire. The perimeter wire is staked around the boundarys of your lawn - effectlive defining the area to be mowed.
The LawnBott can work in an enclosed area without the perimeter wire signal but it is preferred to use the wire. The LawnBott Spyder does not use a perimeter wire signal and relies on non grassy surfaces or border walls of some sort to limit where it goes.
Once setup, when the automatic LawnBott models start mowing, they back out the dock station and travel to the appropiate section of the yard to be mowed - front yard, back yard and so on then mow in a random fashion as scheduled or until the batteries get low. It generally mows in a striaght line until it bumps into an obkect like a tree, power put or the perimeter wire.
If the LawnBott detects tall grass, it will go into what we call "smart spiral mode." This mode allows the robotic lawn mower to concentrate on this area.
When the batteries become low, or at the end of its cutting cycle, the robotic lawn mower will search out the perimeter wireand follow it back to its docking station to recharge. After charging, it heads back out as scheuled!
With the new LawnBott, you have One Less Thing to Worry About.
